Some really nice houses ... BUT ... again, no roads built 🤷🏾‍♀️ That reflects, in my opinion, the real image of Cameroon as a whole: people are ready & willing to contribute to the evolution of our country BUT from our elected officials = zero macabo! Sad state of affairs; oh well ... You guys should start advocating for all these walls to come down. Yaounde is a very beautiful city, but for these walls. It is the buildings that give beauty to a street. I understand people build these huge walls for security and privacy, but it is time to start encouraging them to instead build see-through metal fences. To be honest, if these walls are brought down, there are areas in Yaounde that will be like Dubai, London and Paris. There are thousands of beautiful buildings behind these walls. Paris, London, New York, Dubai, Tokyo, etc are what they are because these kinds of walls are not allowed.

With all the insecurities how can we advocate for such? I myself live in a very highly secure building of which I pay so much for rent but it’s ok. You can’t compare a third world country where 90% of the population are living in poverty to the develop world. What we should start advocating is for all these people to stop giving birth to multiple children which they can’t care for that’s why there’s a lot of youths etc that are a threat to the security out there. One can’t walk in the afternoon with your bag and phone freely not to talk of walking freely at night.
