Driving Through Priest River, Idaho

I grew up in Newport about 6 miles west. Worked at a couple lumber mills in Priest River....late 70's early 80's. One was the LP lumber mill just before you come into town from Sandpoint, it all gone now...crazy. Great little town.

@4:08 you go by the High School built during the Depression. It became the Jr. High, now being closed down because the town didn't pass the levy and the budget has to be tightened. US Highway 2 is a bike route with camping by the river.More scenic in the daytime with the music turned off.
