DRIVING through Uganda’s less travelled BEAUTIFUL countryside (KARAMOJA)
When we drive to places we wanted to visit, we’ll either like it there, or be disappointed by it, depending what experiences we get there. Why bet on only the destination? Why not enjoy the journey to there as well.
We took a road drive to the far North East of Uganda, Kotido District, and there is a direct route for sure. But there are 2 others, and one of them is much more fun with greatest views ever. We ventured out and this video is a result of it. PURE FUN.

No I did not.. returned South afterwards. No doubt Kidepo is the best game park in Uganda. I was there 2019 and boy oh boy it was smashing ☺️. Will def go back

Great to hear about karamojong people, considered an offshoot of the Iteso people together with the Jie, I am told they were named karamojong, because they were older people who could not continue with migratory adventure and because of old age, they remained back in this land, I am watching from Eldoret city

We would love to travel there though the Howz the security situation? Do you required to book a Hotel in advance or just popin as you move?

@@alickak8346 it is safe to say we didn’t at any point feel unsafe. We were intercepted by security somewhere along the way because we were thought to take pictures of prisoners. That tells there is vigilance and therefore safe. For hotel we asked our local guide from Kotido to find us a place to stay. Everything was almost seamless
