Instant flashback to standing early morning at Parika stelling watching boats come,offload and take off.I see Malali and remember standing on the upper deck watching Parika drift away towards Adventure.That early sunrise on the wharf is something else i tell you.Your videos never disappoints.

Hi Danny. The 3 boats were commissioned in May 1959 Any idea where is the Torani these days? We used it for the Berbice River crossing before the bridge. Keep posting. Thanks

Osman Ali bought one of the ferries. He tried running it on the Essiquibo river but stopped due to the ferry being not worth the repairs.

Silt carried on the rivers that drain into the ocean resulting in the water being brown , but its not poluted.....we actually do have blue water lakes in guyana you can search on the internet.

I was there last Monday morning, Parole is worst than Africa, it was so filthy and there are so many drug addicts. We were there at 1 am we were told that there was on!y one boat working on Superman schedule, meaning that it will leave Superman at 5 am and it should leave Parika around 8:30am. We choose not to wait for so many hours and there are no facilities to make you feel comfortable. We also went to Sea and Breeze and it was one of the worse place we visited, the place is rundown, no plates, forks etc.. to serve with. The bathrooms are disgusting.
