Wow, a place we have never heard of that looks like a fantastic stop. Thanks! We are following this series with interest as we plan to use our September 15 night trip to go to the South of France. Epernay was planned as first stop so its really helpful so far.

Oh this looked unbelievable Jo, I think I added this to our map when you first posted about it. I'm gobsmacked just looking at all that detail. Although I might have missed it, but how did this postman get all that land to build on 😂 I'm glad he did though. Bloody lovely anyway and even better with an aire nearby 😍

He acquired it though his 2nd marriage but sadly his wife died - which must have been one of the motivating factors on keeping him something to concentrate on. It had such a mystical yet sad feel about it. His imagination is something else tho! We actually stayed in a nearby village and ended up playing Petanque with the locals and had a fabulous evening!
