only engine costs 3k euros, at least here in Croatia, wrap is 1000-1500 euros,, trans with conversion at least 1k euros, buut you can get it when you buy the motor if you find a good deal, i dont know prices for the rest of mods, and lets say wheels that were in boxes were at least 1k euros. so yeah, its very expensive but if you are not planning to sell it anytime soon, build it for your sake

I do not know how the Bulgarian KAT works,but I salute them with respect if they let someone swap from a 140-170 HP diesel powered engine in the papers of the car to a 3.2 VR6 250hp petrol engine and give new paper work for it,that I wold love to do on my car,but my stupid law în my country dose not allow me to do it ,Bulgaria is smart and get cars registred for use în România,Moldova even Ucraina, they get payed for regitration, insurance, tax,toll, and the cars are used în other country, and for that I salute them again.

How hard was the swap? I'm thinking of getting my 1.9 tdi BKC DSG swapped to the 270hp CDL + dsg. Heard the electrical stuff is pretty tough and alot of costs for engine + auxiliaries.

I know that for the front bumper my friend needed to do some cutting on a 1.9tdi, the other parts fit with no problem.
