My theory is that mike and sully did meet in the fourth grade but after either mike or sully moved away they forgot each other and when they meet again in college they don’t recognize each other

I honestly really like Monsters University. Even though it contradicts the 4th grade line and I don’t really buy Mike not being scary. Would you not be scared if a creature that looked like him just appeared in your cabin at night in the forest? Also I like to think that the 4th grade line was just Mike saying a popular expression in the monster world, but they just didn’t explain that he didn’t mean it literally. I also like this movies message, if you can find something to do in life and be happy than that’s great, even if that thing wasn’t your #1 dream to do.

I despise Monster's University with a fiery passion as Monster's Inc is my 2nd favorite movie of all time and all we got after 12 long years was a useless boring prequel that implies Mike's character regressed and opens plotholes. I love Monsters at Work and can't wait for Season 2. Despite that, fun YTP and great reaction!
