Drizella [Ivy] ● Let You Down

So I'm not all that impressed with this but oh well it's done and I can't be bothered to tweak it anymore. I just couldn't seem to make the text right, or decide whether there should be text, etc.
Anyway, Ivy's my favourite character on ouat after Regina and I'm still disappointed that she disappeared before the season ended. I really wanted to see what would happen with her relationship with Regina, Jacinda and Henry (specifically once the curse was broken with those last two). Also I wanted to see more of her and Ana. But oh well.
I've gotta say, I have about zero empathy for Victoria. I reckon she's probably the worst parent on the show after Pan. I'd say even Cora's better than her seeing as Cora didn't have heart when she did all those things to Regina (not that that justifies anything) or ever try to kill her. And I don't think sacrificing herself so Ivy could live in ANY WAY made up for all those years of abuse and neglect, especially when it was her fault Ivy was going to die in the first place. I feel a little like Ivy forgave her too easily but at the same time I understand it because she was her mother and all those all she wanted was for her to love her back and her death showed that she did (in her own way) and also it's harder to hate someone when they're dead. I would have liked to see Victoria actually working for that forgiveness and making a try at being a good mother, rather than making the heroic sacrifice and leaving Ivy with the guilt of her death. Anyway, that's my little rant over with.

I didn't truly appreciate Ivy until later in the season, and by that point, she was already almost gone. :/ I guess they were planning for more seasons, so that must've been why they wrote her off for a while. And I agree about Victoria. But wow, seeing all the abuse condensed into one video makes it so much more magnified and painful. :( I didn't even understand why Victoria treated her that way (not that there's ever any good excuse for neglecting your child), but with the flashbacks, it just...didn't make sense to me. At all. Either way, this was beautiful, and it was nice seeing a tribute for an underrated character! :)

And the only reason rapunzel disliked Ivy and treated her like dirt was because when Ivy was a kid she favored her step-mother over her and distanced herself from Victoria. That's what made Victoria hate Ella's mother so much to begin with. Pettiness caused Victoria (rapunzel) to treat her daughter like dirt. She cared more about Anastasia because she had favored her over her step-mother. Then Anastasia died leaving Victoria only with the child who didn't favour her and the child of the woman she despised the most.
