@@VixenValori when I say she isn't as close I don't mean they aren't friends but let' s be realistic the restriction doesn't make sense and the video jenlisa shippers use are highly edited . I'm not trying to say jennie and lisa don't like each other but chaelisa, jensoo and lisoo are the closest you can tell by their interactions and stories they tell about each other. Jennie and jisoo had friends in common like nayeon and they shared many predebut pictures of them. old fans had a lot of pics of Jensoo and chaelisa in pairs way before they debuted.

The restrictions are about protecting the marketability of BP in conservative S. Korea and other conservative markets. It’s okay to seem playful, but if their interactions are too real YG is concerned about a political backlash. The girls decided on a business first strategy for the group years ago, but sometimes they get caught up in the moment.

Jennie and Lisa have trained together the longest, so it's only natural that they would be the most relaxed with each other. Also, I seem to recall Lisa saying something about Jennie being the only other trainee who spoke English, when she first arrived, and that Jennie helped her to learn Korean. Even though there were lessons in the Korean language available to Lisa, she had to learn the language QUICKLY, and there is no faster way than to speak it in general conversation with someone who can answer the question "what is the word for...?" ON THE SPOT. That's why YG's restriction on anyone speaking English with Lisa seemed so counter-intuitive to me. It was like they were saying "Hurry up and learn the language!" while telling her fellow trainees "Don't you dare help her to learn!" In what sane universe does that even make sense??? She needed a way to bridge the gap between what she knew and what she was trying to master, and it sounds like Jennie was willing to buck management's rules to provide one for her. To me, that warrants a special bond of friendship. As for YG trying to dictate how any of the girls show friendship toward one another, their top priority appears to be protecting their “investment” by letting hate mail decide what is appropriate behavior, in order to lower the level of flak they have to respond to. In my opinion, they are shirking their responsibility toward protecting the artists whose talent and hard work have given them an “investment” to protect. And let me say, in case YG isn't familiar with the concept, you don't grow an investment from a position of weakness; the people who don't like what you have to sell need to be taught to move on, not be pandered to. If you build a customer base on a foundation of those you have appeased, your business will crumble around you when they cut-and-run. I KNOW Jisoo wants to protect and care for the younger girls, which puts her in the awkward position of being an intermediary between the 4 of them and management. I BELIEVE that Jennie thinks YG is over-stepping by trying to tell the girls to limit their displays of friendship and affection toward one other, and was willing to show her displeasure by not heeding Jisoo's signals. I also believe that her love and respect for Jisoo are why she finally gave in; she wasn't upset with Jisoo, she was upset with management's rules and she was upset with herself for being powerless to stand her ground. These girls (and please understand I think of them as “young ladies,” but continue to say “girls” for brevity and to use the terminology applied by most BLINKs) have been subjected to an incredible amount of unnecessary stress, stress that has been foisted upon them by the cowards who hide their jealousy behind hateful language. If YG thought deeply enough, they would realize that “haters” aren't customers; they are only hanging around because they've learned they can attack with impunity. As soon as they have spewed enough of their hatred (born of a feeling of inadequacy) to create chaos, they will move on without adding a dime to YG's pocket. How anyone who stands aside and lets 4 such beautiful souls be maligned by liars and attacked by cowards can live with themselves is beyond me. I hope they walk the floors through sleepless nights until they finally decide that humanity toward others is far more valuable than the profit they can earn from them.

Jisoo isn't jealous, but I think Jisoo pays a lot of attention to both of them because Jennie and Lisa have no limits lol there are a lot of scenes where they are having fun and Jisoo doesn't care about it, but when it starts to get intense with games of trying to kiss or touching each other too much, Jisoo tries to "intervene", I think it's because of Korean culture... I see and have seen many of their lives and I see that Jisso just starts looking and somehow stops them when they really go over the limit.. and in many videos it is noticeable that Jisoo is like the leader of the group, sometimes Lisa is totally imperative and crazy and Jisoo tells her to stop and she just stops, something that if the others say she got even more crazylol there are videos where Jennie and Rose start recording and Jisoo tells them to stop and they stop, like Jennie obeying someone like that? weird lol... So sometimes it can seem like Jisoo is jealous or being called but I think because she's older she ended up with this annoying part of being more responsible and monitoring and not letting girls cross the limits when they're recording or doing something important... and the culture for artists in Korea is very heavy, it's a little thing and they destroy you, there's no forgiveness... And Jisoo really has this extra care for the girls, on a level that They even say that if they have a problem they run to Jisoo and they have great affection for Jisoo, the way they really treat Jisoo like an older sister and a safe haven is really beautiful.
