@@DrJALAGHARI Sir you have attached the PID controller before the governor but shouldn't it be in parallel with 1/R loop as shown in diagram in the beginning of the video and also in the another video of load frequency model on your channel kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3LSlJlnqKanmrs .Also according to dig/theory (hadi saddat fig 12.16 page number 543) the input to PID should be delta f/omega (not delta f or w/R)and and control signal from output of controller should be given to preference or input power so that controller can increase or decrease power in case frequency changes.Please clarify it asap as i'm working on this topic and doubts are coming in my mind

@@DrJALAGHARI Sir in this video you have taken change in frequency deviation under integral error , i want to take overshoot and undershoot under the integral error so that overshoot/undershoot does not ho beyond certain range…i am not getting how to do that …how to add overshoot/undershoot as parameter to ITAE block…i am not able to extract overshoot/undershoot signal from scope. I have tried using it with storing signal data in workspace however not able to retrieve overshoot/undershoot from it (to assign them to ITAE block ) please help

Thanks for the comment. I think you have latest version of your MATLAB. In latest version, you have to change the settings of the simout block by going into model simulation parameter configurations. Otherwise install 2017a version.

Thanks for the comment. Change the input variables in the tuning function program, pso program as well as in the simulink model. It will work.

@@ankitasharma5803 No. I mean if you are using two variables, then change the number in all three accordingly. Or first run it with three variables means pid if it works fine then gradually change it for pi controller.

I will upload within few days. The model is built in 2017a version. Therefore, either you install 2017a version or you built the model by your own.

How do we obtain the values of the overshoot, undershoot and settling time sir. In addition sir, in many of the journals I have seen on LFC their undershoots and overshoots are in two decimal places e.g 0.0543. How can we obtain the overshoot or undershoots like that.
