Thank you very much for every of your videos. I really enjoy every second. Hope you and your son will catch many more or at least have many more hours at the river. Hopefully you will then share those moments again with us.

The scenery alone is fantastic and the fishing, well let's just say off the chart. Hoping to visit the Morrum River next summer.

Wonderful and very informative video's....'adaptive and open-minded', a good philosophy for the future of the sport. Wonder what the Halford and Skues purists would think of that.

Great video!!! I have Versileaders in my RIO kit, is that the same (almost) as Polyleaders? I have float, intermediate, S3, S6 and S9.

Yes I think it's just a matter of taste. Same principles, you want to get the fly down deeper. /John

@@DrJohnTheAnglerJohnHedberg I see! I have a 12’ 6/7/8 two handed rod for Mörrum, is that to small? Thinking of getting a 12’8 #9 or is the difference to small?
@DrJohnTheAnglerJohnHedberg9 ай бұрын
You can get by just fine with the ones you have. I personally fish with a 12.6 #8 in the summer/autumn and a 13.7 #8 during the May fishing. From the middle of May, the water flow in Mörrum is usually quite low. By the way i think your RIO S3 equals a fast sink polyleader. /John

Hi, really love watching your videos, would like to know the set up you use, you make it look effortless in tight situations, rod, line, polyleaders etc... thanks

Also like the fly patterns you tie...the river I fish runs quite dark with peat stain after flood...is the Morrum similar or does it run clear??
@DrJohnTheAnglerJohnHedberg7 жыл бұрын
Hi! The Mörrum river is a dark (brown) colored river. /John

Hi John! Great videos! I am planning to spend some time on Morrum this year and make a fishing video abut salmon and seatrout fishing. Could you advise me what time is best to film this fish and the river and what most important where to fish! :) Again great videos and awsome fishing skills! Tight lines!

Hi, I say that autumn is the best time to fish the river, at least it’s the time of year when you’re most likely to catch fish. In the autumn there are fish in all pools from the southern stretch close to the Baltic up to Härnäs. It’s hard to give advice where the best fishing are because it varies from year to year. So my best advice is to try a lot of pools and be open minded and after a while you'll find the hot spots. /John
