Every government employee who gives permission is government representative. Hence government should be the first accountable . Government or CM cannot say their department’s actions is not their mistake. Hence any approved construction must be financially compensated for demolition. Government should provide alternative land , cost of construction or compensation. People who bought the properties by following all permissions should not have to suffer. Most of people don’t know what is FTL, Buffer zone, even there is no marking around lakes.

Hello Sir: I have a question. Are banks getting equally affected with Hydra. Any one taking a home loan do not intend to pay the loan after their home gets demolished. What will the banks do if people getting affected by Hydra stops repayment of loan? As it’s kind of mortgage loan, now banks can’t acquire the property as government demolished the property. Tricky thing is bank approves the loan after checking all the government documents. The same government states that this is illegal and demolishes the property. One thing that I don't understand is, what is that Hydraa staff knows that GHMC officers or MRO staff does not know. I can understand constructions that mushroomed without any documentation. What on earth makes Hydraa use bulldozers on constructions that have construction permissions and occupancy certificates? They can have every right to ask for occupancy certificate. But, once that is produced, Town planning officer should be held accountable. We wouldn't have got into this situation had MRO surveyors were available to common people to get the land they are buying surveyed. If a seller is offering to sell a piece of land, is there an authority (or a set of authorities) that can tell me that the land is clear in all aspects? Buyers will be more than happy to pay the recommended fees to get these verification done.

Registration only endorses that the transaction is executed in presence of sub-registrar with the consent of both the parties. Sub-registrar does not validate ownership of any property. It is not sub-registrar's part of job. If you observe keenly, when we go for a property loan or housing loan from a nationalized bank. They ask for lots of documentation. Some of which is impossible to get from government departments. If Sub-registrar is doing that work, and anyways the approved loan amount is disbursed as a DD in the name of property vendor, why would bank do all that work? They can just hand over the DD if Sub-registrar is registering the transaction else take it back to bank. Even if any litigation arises, bank catches hold the borrower but never a Sub-registrar, why? That's not their job. One thing I do agree, government needs to bring in transperency about what is the status of each property and what are its boundaries. Everything should be easy to understand for decently educated person. Keeping people in dark and making them vulnerable in the hands of cunning builders and developers is a shame.

Why don't government provide insurance to home , because we are taking all approvals for the construction and then only going for construction. @@DemonslayerTanjiroKamado Not needed. For example, government released FTL and buffer zone limits of Musi river. You can find a KML file too to see what comes under buffer zone and FTL. You will find how rivers closed in some places. Having Rivers and lakes in it’s positions definitely helps us in handling heavy rains. We can’t step out even with one cm rain HYD. I hope things settle down slowly..

brother CBN had a planned approach to development. He expanded the city to low populated areas. I was living in himayathnagar at the time and roads still are the same there. CBN expanded city from outside jubilee hills where there was less population at the time. And he had planned approach and control over govt departments. Even ORR that completed in YSRs time was done with minimal impact to people. I’m not opposed to hydra’s intentions but the process is inconsistent. There is absolutely no need to demolish right away without notice when they don’t even have a plan about what they are going to do for regeneration of lakes. There are many unanswered questions and people are really lost. The first thing should be ammending procedures to prevent future constructions by making updated ftl mapping available to people and stopping govt officials from giving out illegal permissions. The law itself states no demolition should occur without proper notice, if they are really legal they wouldn’t do it on a Sunday when people can’t go to court. Rich people are getting these notices in the name of social impact for example fathima college. Students studied a whole year from home during covid they didn’t need a campus. Once land is reclaimed if ranganath is transferred there is nothing stopping politicians from encroaching these lands again, GHMC will give permissions out of pressure again. All this reeks of corruption.
