This reminds of me of my late grandmother. My mother and her sisters, who were my aunts, one time were trying to get her attention while she was praying. She was in her room and pray to God. She would tell them what is ,it I am praying. They left her alone lol. God does want our time. At my local church there is a bench in front of the crucifixion. Sometimes I would give thanks and talk to God and other times I would just be silent. In silence, God does show you what he needs you to see. Sometimes it would be an hour sometimes two I would forget the time. Before getting into the habit of doing this, I would take only a few minutes. Today we have so many things that keep us so busy we forget that we need to put God first.

Your message is inspiring. No matter how far 1 goes away from God but He always brings us closer to Him through someone n this exactly He did 2 me. I stopped praying, thinking I'm wasting my time. 2 -3 hours praying daily since 2020. What did I achieved n stopped suddenly or short cut. Prayers of 1 hour I curtailed into 15 minutes. And I feel sleepy as soon as I start praying, God don't want me to pray that's why He puts me to sleep The real facts I don't know, so someone God fearing righteous will explain me.
