I'm currently pursuing my final semester of masters and simultaneously preparing for NET JRF, SET and GATE. Honestly speaking, I don't want to waste two more years and money on B.ed, rather I want to do PhD. My state government doesn't conduct school service exams since last 10 years. for I'm almost 23 and it feels very bad to depend on my parents. If I crack jrf they won't need to sponsor my education. But now I don't know what to do.

Honestly speaking, serving half cooked knowledge without enlightening the long term objective of a career is dangerous. I do agree that preparing on both sides opens two options, both the jobs are different in terms of teaching and require you to meet up with different challenges. B.ed is a safer option to get the earliest job if you approach the vacancy and prepare for exams wholeheartedly you could secure your next 20-30 years with job stability through govt. Exam. Whereas, NET comes up with lots of difficulties you are constantly being in search of a job as the majority of them are contractual and it leaves you to settle late in life that too depends because in the rarest case you get permanent vacancy in colleges.

बीएड जुगाड से करो MSc प्राइवेट करते रहो। दोनों regular course Hain, 1 तो प्राइवेट ज़रूरी है, 1 टाइम में 2 रेगुलर कोर्स show नही कर।

See to be honest. It's very difficult to get in Phd in India.. So as you have done MA in economics.. You can also try for IES (Indian economic services).. And also give GATE exam for economics
