After owning them for less than a year one of them started flickering really bad the warranty process really sucks they want to get $200 from you to send out a new one and it's already been 3 weeks since I asked for it I requested a replacement has been under a year so it should be in the full replacement no warranty repairs and really giving a hard time about the warranties . I thought I found me an answer for my girl room now I'm on the hunt for another light brand that's reliable I hope that's helps before you purchase and if you did I hope they go good for you

Yeah the part is great the lights really works really nice until less than the year started flickering. Now I have a hard time getting a warranty they want $200 for me for a deposit for a new light. I purchased you from a distributor here locally and that's what he wants from him my vendor also stated that he's had multiple incidents what this brand he is going to stop carrying them

@@SilentScreamsStudios I have one, but the lights I have are too powerful to go by the suggested par levels wirh the reader, from what ive read online.. They light company gives you a dimmer switch with their recommended heights and intensity levels which the plants like way better. I had stunted em out, growing so slow from going by the par meter. Hope that helps. I'm still new so I really don't know much about it all. Watching. But it helps to get an idea if you can correlate it all for yourself.

hey Mister Coco, in your database the Mars hydro FC-E 3000 has about 10% better efficiency than the more expensive FC-3000. Doesnt really make sense to me. Are you sure these results are right?

Yes, it is a consistent pattern. The FC and FCE versions perform very similarly. I have tested both versions of the 3000, 6500, and 8000. I discuss this and my thoughts about why in the recent FCE-3000 video. Grower Love

Question Mr. Coco Have you noticed improved par testing on quantum board style LEDs With the ballasts removed off of the board I’ve recently done so and noticed some tacoing of leaves The following day so I guess the real question is how effective is the efficacy of a quantum board when ran a cooler temperatures

How high and at what power percentage should I be at for the following; Clones, seeds, early veg, late veg, early flower, and late flower. Can I safely run at 40% for clones and seeds, 60% for all veg cycle, and 80% for flower cycle? Thanks

@@Kona297 I will set mine at roughly 45 to 50 inches and at 40% for seedlings. 24 to 26 inches at 60% for veg, 60% to 80% at 24 to 26 inches for flowering and maybe 24 to 26 inches at 100% for the last 2 weeks of flower.

@@SilentScreamsStudios Thank you. I contacted Medicgrow directly and they replied with an email stating their light is too powerful for seedlings and should not be used. Said to use a T8 instead. BS...I already raised my light (using a Par meter) to the height you mentioned and dropped the output to 40%. Working great! Appreciate all the setting info! Happy growing.

These are not made by medic grow and are really Samphon lights. I have a smart 8 light that had a medic grow sticker on it and when I removed it, it says Samphon. This is not cool.

I have a smart 8 light. These lights are not made by medic grow but in fact are made by SAMPHON. I took the sticker off of mine and said Samphon which can be purchased on Amazon cheaper. Medic grow is a scam company. Just saying. Their customer service is lacking as well.
