Yes you can become a psychologist or a counsellor too. You just need to do your masters in Psychology (and that too in a particular field of psychology you want to go like clinical, counselling, industrial etc.)

You can do your BA and MA from any college. But if you want to become a Clinical Psychologist then its very necessary to do you M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from a RCI registered university because if you dont do your mphil from RCI registered uni chances are you won’t get a license and without that license you cant work as a clinical psychologist.
