Mam...I have doubts...screening test applied on 1000 population for DM shows 90 people were found to be positive and another gold standard test was performed which shows 100 were positive ,calculate sensitivity ....? In a population of about 10000 prevalence of disease is 20%,sensitivity of screening test is 95% and specificity is 80%;calculate the PPV of test. Please help m out...I will b thankful if u make me understand by making video on these questions, 😀

mam sensitivity of rapid antigen test is 50-84% AND specificity is 99% , i am confused if the test will give false negative result in 16-50% cases how could be it's specificity be 99% ( true negative ), please clarity
