I know that PSG has alot of money after a Sheikh bought that club. Neymar, Cavani, mbappe,. Verrati, Navas, donnarumma, kimpembe, Ramos, wijnaldum. The list never ends, but u think more than a team PSG is just a wealthy club. We all FOOTBALL fans broke down when Neymar joined PSG, he wanted to be the number 1 and he could not be becoz of Messi but going to PSG did not do him any favour... Same goes for mbappe as well.. he is well covered in that team. I hope the rumors of mbappe joining real Madrid come to action coz it will be better for mbappe.

No if a player is switching nationalities it is done according to some rules sanctioned by FIFA. For example- Just before the Euro 2020 Aymeric Laporte switched from France to Spain. Recently Hudson-Odoi has switched from England to Ghana. No money is involved in this it is more down to player’s individual choice.

So if a club gets paid say 200 million as transfer fee for a player then how much does the player get from that 200 million? Or that is only the transfer fee?

That is just the transfer fees- it is basically the fees at which you buy the contract of a player from the parent club. Then seperate negotiations are done with player& his agent to agree on a wage/salary+ bonuses. Overall, the club spends x amount on buying contract of player & y amount on salary of player. So they end up spending x+y amount on a player. Then it is about maintaining the accounts in a financial year. This is done by amortization of x fees over the time period of contract & adding y on that amortised fees . So, in registration the amortised fees & salary is registered. For example , a club buys a player for £50 million and offer him salary of £10 million/year on 5 year contract. The £50m fees will be amortised over 5 year period as £10 million+ the £10m in salary. So, in a financial year buying club has spent £20m on that player . Similarly, they would spend ,say £30m on a player 2, £10m on player 3 and so on. The sum total of spending(£20m+£10m+£30m....) on all players must be inside the limit set by Financial fair play or the club gets transfer ban. This is done to ensure clubs don't spend money that they actually don't have.

@@Aman-cc5ff Yes , release clause is set by parent club and obviously paid to the parent club. Just like that guy explained First the transfer fee at that time is paid to the parent club and then the other financial terms are discussed by the player/his manager.
