If you want the ideal tempered glass for your S9, Whitestone's Dome Glass is the way to go, if a bit pricey. On the cheap end, GPEL's are worth a look.

Pretty sure the "packaging" on the OtterBox screen protector is an applicator. You put the screen protector in the two black bars then place your phone behind the screen protector for a perfect line up.

Yes, Jay is correct, the two black plastic pieces slide on to the top and bottom of the phone to align the protective glass, I was going to comment on this but I saw Jay already did, This review loses a couple points due to the reviewer not knowing how the item works he's reviewing, Bad reviewer (slap on the hand)

On the S9 & S9+ if you use a screen protector you can adjust up the touch sensitivity in Settings. My S7 doesn't have this feature. I'll be updating to the S9 next week.

You do know your phone is gna be scratched like heck within a few months right? Sorry but I take care of what I buy. I get it, some people don't. But come a year from now. If you use a glass screen protector you have to put up the touch sensitivity in the settings!

I've used glass screen protectors on all my Samsung phones and have never had to turn on the screen sensitivity, and it worked fine.

20:37 Nice, but many modern cars now include USB ports to charge your phone, etc from. Some even have extra functionality, like connecting the phone to the car for things like android auto. There's even cars that have built-in wireless charging now. My new car has 3 USB ports, before you get on to the 2 12v sockets.

This cases are literally useless. I speak from experience when I had a thin clear case for an old phone of mine, the HTC One M8. I had a bulkier one but decided I liked the thin case more and the thin one was easier to take on and off. One day I went to a party and we were drinking. I sat down to find that there was no chair behind be and fell. My phone's screen fell to the concrete floor and cracked, and that was when I realized that thin cases aren't really worth any amount paid for. So yeah... how easy/hard it is to take off your phone is nothing compared to what you actually need the case for.

Sounds Like you got the Otter box Defender case, has an interior padded hard case that snaps on, then a softer rubber case that goes around the plastic case, that's what I use with the glass screen protector, my S5 after 4 years of use still looks Brand new, not a scratch on it anywhere.

It's the screen protector that's cracked. I'm on my 5th Zagg screen protector in a week... ALL applied by Verizon tech's at a Verizon store. This is a $50 "protector" that chips before you get out of the store ! I watched a manager try to apply 3 of these in a row and all of them cracked. It comes with a "Lifetime replacement" warranty but at $10 charge. The last one I had the in-store tech apply lasted 3 whole days before it cracked !! WTF ? PS, I am EXTREMELY careful with my phone and always have been. Besides, it's a $1000 phone !!
