So beautiful! The microfreak is such a great synth for pedals. Thanks for this

Would you choose the Stammen over the Microcosm and/or Mood? It seems more layed out in front of you and less daunting in a way. The cosm and chase bliss ones seem like they have too many featurea hidden under the hood.. but cant decide on what to get out of these three. Would like to try the mood sometime though but seems too fiddly to get anything useable ? Any personal insight would be awesome

Hey! Ok so here are my thoughts in no particular order haha. First, if I were to give them a rating out of 10, my quick gut rating would say the Mood (esp MKII) is probably a 9, Stammen an 8, and the Microcosm a 6. You're very correct in assuming the controls in the Stammen are right there - they really are and that's a big plus. That gives it a lot of points, as well as does the general sound and the algorithms - I think it's a solid buy. The Mood (MKII only) edges up because you have two stacked effects, and it's stereo which is great, and it even does some cool panning stuff in spread mode. It's one of my favorite pedals ever, but you're also correct in that it's a little less clear what's going on - it's by no means hard to use, but compared to the Stammen, it's definitely a bit "deeper" - for better or worse, and maybe a little less predictable. The Microcosm is pretty cool, has some great algorithms and it's also stereo, and has a great format for desktop instrument users, but to me it definitely has a bit too much going on. I think it's the perfect thing for a certain effect buyer, but I couldn't get into it personally. I think that's another thing, I like weird and clock speed crunchiness and stuff, and you get that very easily with the Mood. That's why it's my winner, but it might not be yours. Honestly all 3 are pretty awesome though and I wouldn't be mad if I still owned them all haha.
