Drone Data Product Validation

Drone data product validation collects data on the ground using traditional benchmark methods that validate drone products and guide and improve automated product generation.
Trine Bekkby (NIVA) was leading this work until recently, when Kristina Kvile (NIVA) stepped up to carry on. Trine explains validation and what is most fun about this part of SeaBee.
We are carrying out several field campaigns to collect targeted ground-truth data in the following topics:

Seabirds (led by NINA)
Water Quality (led by NIVA)
