I followed the command and subbed. Really nice video with a kind of smokey quality. Too bad this town suffered the destruction of so many irreplaceable old structures. They can never bring them back. One thing that would help greatly is too rebuild at least some of the one time extensive streetcar system. Fewer cars, people not needing to deal with exorbitant auto insurance rates = relative happiness.

From what I hear, the City of Detroit is trying to do just that - restore the older structures while modernizing their functionality. I hope they succeed bc this is a beautiful town with a unique array of architecture. And thank you so very much for the sub and like. It is appreciated! 🤙🏽

Detroit is currently benefiting in a way if you will for being stagnant for 50 years. Most cities saw building booms and tore down their old buildings to put up new. Some in Detroit rotted and were torn down but many just stood… and waited for the right time, person and love. This video is a prime example done so beautifully of how far the city has come back. Keep rising for the sky. Detroit will always be home.
