If you or your child is a player, the Hall of Fame will help you realize just how big the game is over its nearly 200 year history while also making you feel genetically linked to the game. Whether you’re touching Babe Ruth’s locker 5:48 or staring eye to eye with a 17 year-old Hank Aaron minutes before he leaves his mother with nothing more than a couple sandwiches to his name, you will be moved. As great as the plaques are, exhibits like these are the gems. They say it takes 2-3 hours, but my 13 year-old son and I read everything and took 6, and he never grew bored. Take your time, especially if you don’t think you’ll ever get back.

The Disney World for Baseball fans !!! ⚾ I was there in 2019 for the enshrinement of Edgar Martínez 🇵🇷 and still can't believe it, seems like a distant dream, the best weekend of my whole life !!! ⚾

I was there for the 75th anniversary induction which was a big class. The morning of the induction I attended mass at the Cooperstown Catholic church - very old church. Mass was as usual, but when the mass ended the priest said "the recessional hymn is not in the hymn books, but you all know the words", and mass ended with the priest and altar servers walking out to the organist playing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game". That town is a special town.
