From my source, Matrice 4 is currently unavailable in the States, waiting for approval from "some people". The announcement is just a hold in place. If you really want one you could go buy one in Canada.

Did you hear about what happened in LA yesterday regarding the wildifres and a drone? A firefighting airplane was hit by a drone. Here is an excerpt from a local news station: "The Federal Aviation Administration said it is investigating after fire officials reported that a water-dropping "super scooper" firefighting aircraft struck a drone while operating over the Palisades Fire in Southern California on Thursday. The drone reportedly left a football-sized hole in the wing of the plane. The aircraft landed safely, the FAA said. "It's a federal crime, punishable by up to 12 months in prison, to interfere with firefighting efforts on public lands," the FAA said in a statement. "Additionally, the FAA can impose a civil penalty of up to $75,000 against any drone pilot who interferes with wildfire suppression, law enforcement or emergency response operations when temporary flight restrictions (TFRs) are in place." Not good!

I am sure the Matrice 4 will be a stellar drone. I cannot for the life of understand why all of the buttons on the controller don’t light up. It makes flying at night at SARs mission and Fires more stressful.

As long as a company is ran by a Chinese citizen, then they are part of the Chinese military complex because of Chinese laws. As long as a citizen must assist the government WITHOUT QUESTION, then Chinese ownership is a problem.
