Drone Object Detection | Opencv CVZone

In this video, we are going to learn how to run object detection on a drone. We will first look at object detection and then embed it into the drone. And no we not going to install 100 packages with 50 parameter configurations. You will have your model running within 10 to 15 mins.

Hello, can you explain to me please how works send_rc_control() method from djitellopy? I have read, that after executing the method it shoud be keeping the setted velocity until i send send_rc_control(0,0,0,0). I have tried it with two tello drones (normal version, not EDU) and it's not working this way. Every time it set velocity for a short period of time and then the drone lands. Thank you for your help.

Hi Murtaza, I was wondering how you would code the drone to move in a certain way after detecting a specific object. for example: the drone detects a book, I then want the drone to move up by 50cm and continue a chain of other commands.

Magnificent project. I have a connection problem: after connecting the tello via wifi, I run the script and it gives me this error "Exception: Did not receive a state packet from the Tello" and the Tello webcam does not open. How can I solve?

You are doing a very nice service here, but you could brush up on some more pythonic practices. For instance, your variable names don't conform to usual python capitalization and you initialized a list which is never used, simply replaced by the file read. Thanks for the great info

Sir would you please make it as tracking system also. . Suppose the drone would be connected with our cellphone. And it would take off. And suppose it detected all the humans in a street. We want a person to be detected and traced/ followed. So by one click that object would be followed until we give a message to drone. Then drone would come back to the place where you have your cellphone. Thank You !
