Fantastic stuff, this is a really interesting project and it's impressive to see how small the adjustments are to adequately damp the oscillation of the load. I'm currently doing a drone-related project for my Computer Science MEng and was wondering if you'd mind sharing how you created your visualisations, like the one at 3:50? It doesn't seem to be part of your DronePilot code on GitHub. Many thanks.

Indeed it was very interesting working in it, I had so much fun. Those replay animations are made in matlab and the code is from the research group, that is why is not in the github. Send me an email to aldo@altax.net

Do you use indoor camera system(eg. OptiTrack) to measure the position of drone? how do you send the position to Raspberry pi? Through WiFi using a router?
