Used to live there. Resident for over 20 years. If you want a good laugh, visit the newest fire station out by the airport. The short sidewalks end with a power pole in the way. In some places there are handicap access crossing ramps at intersections that don't even have sidewalks. Ridiculously high property taxes, extreme summer heat and heavy oilfield traffic have screwed many of the highways up. Crime rate is elevated during Poteet's Strawberry festival. Pretty good hunting if you can afford a lease.

In just 2 years so much has changed you can see here, some of the buildings are now gone. This is only a very small portion of Pleasanton, basically an overview of our tiny but charming downtown, and convention center. There is much more to see in this awesome town, there is a reason its called Pleasanton. ;)
