Drone Rapid City, South Dakota

Aerial Drone flying over Rapid City, South Dakota was a goal of mine since my winter drive in 2020. I arrived on the 14th and did not want to fly in the wind. I drove downtown and measured the wind at 18 MPH on the surface so I decided not to fly again on the 15th. I drove to Bismarck to fly there first. Finally, today on the 16th I was able to fly and I feel this evening flight was better with the open ice rink I show.

I love to drive throughout the world whether on the right or left with either left-hand steering or right-hand steering and of course I have become accustomed to using a stick-shift with both hands :) I truly enjoy the great food and discussions with locals where I have been blessed to travel. Included on this channel are some driving and snorkeling videos and even a couple bike rides I recorded.
You can also see my beginning drone videos looking at 2016 dates when I filmed in safe nature areas. I practiced how to crash safely, how to fly with three propellers and how to ground the drone and drive to it. I practiced in snow, rain and extreme cold to make sure I understood the drones limitations before I went to the big cities. I handle a drone like I do a gun and I truly hope others do the same.

Also a very large and beautiful Sioux Reservation if you take backroads across the Missouri River en route to Bismarck, ND. I have also enjoyed the Carpathian Mountains to your east when I visited all of the Balkan States without a drone. You live in one of the prettiest capitols in the world and I enjoyed the beautiful night walks along the Danube River. Very cool. When I started working for an insurance company about ten years ago I traveled to Rapid City for training. The offices (now closed) were on the 2nd floor of the building next to the ice rink. There was a great coffee shop located on the 1st floor.

I have to clean up and found a bill from 2009, september 13, saying that I stayed in the "Town House Motel", Room 118. I can not remember. But I have a diary entry about that day. It was on my first long ride through the U.S. on a V65 Sabre I bought in S.F. and then crossed the country to NYC - just because I felt in the mood to do so.

Thank you - I have been there several times and never really looked at what you see. I see people walking, families skating, lots of shops, a downtown park, so for me it is a great community city. If I lived there I may see the other things😎
