Good review as usual. In this video at 9:40 you mention "stability mode". What is that? Since cinewhoops are for videoing you'd think they would want to have hoover stability - hence some kind of altitude hold so you aren't yo-yo'ing around, right? I can find no cinewhoop that has altitude hold via a good barometer. So I am curious about what "stability mode" is on this drone. Thanks!

Dang! How does this fly with a gopro hero 7/8? Wish we could see if the wobbling could be stabilized out that we saw in the caddx. I'm on the bridge between grabbing this right now. Did it fly nicely with the insta360?

Nice video, thanks...couple questions: (1) I thought the only reason cinewhoops could carry a GoPro (as well as they can) was because of the ducted fan aspect of the propulsion system...adding something like 30% thrust over an unducted prop. And the gap between prop and duct has to be TINY...but this Eachine has HUGE gaps...so what's up with that? (2) How loud is the Eachine compared to other cinewhoops? (3) Is there an analog camera version available cheaper than the HD version? Thanks again.
@dronecamps4 жыл бұрын
Depends on how much load amps wise a power system can carry. Not so much the ducts or only ducts. This quad is way quieter than the larger ducted cousins. No analog version yet. That I know of my friend.
@Bill-NM4 жыл бұрын
@@dronecamps Thanks for the quick reply. So it's quieter...huh...wow...I would have thought the props would have to work harder (because of no real thrust-augmenting ducting), so it would be LOUDER. Huh...so I wonder what explains the lower noise? And as far as that goes, why are other cinewhoops so loud? Thanks again.

Keith, just FYI, and you probably already know this, but flying a quad something like a DJI Spark/Air/Mavic/etc (all of them really), is MUCH easier than flying one of these acro-ish type quads. I mean, not that it's THAT hard to learn to fly these (and maybe that's what you want anyway), but DJI products fly themselves...take your hands off the controls and they just stay motionless in the air...you can't do that with the drone in this video. Plus the DJI products are great for taking pictures, as well as video...so you'd be covered there as well. Another recommendation is to learn to fly one of these acro-ish type drones (and cinewhoop types, etc), I might suggest starting with something like an Emax "Tinyhawk"...they are about $100...very small/light...but of good quality...you can learn to fly in your home or back yard...very small spaces...but they are too light to carry any kind of "good" camera (a GoPro, etc), but great for learning to fly. And THEN buy something like the quad shown in this video. Anyway, maybe you know all that, but I just thought I'd throw it out there. Have fun.
