Nice video! I really like these features. Want to test more :) What is "point of interest" in Follow mode? How do I set a point of interest?

It's the option you have in Focus or Orbit mode

Eric thanks for the preview of these new features. One thing that is confusing is the Orbit Mode. In your verbal description at the beginning you suggest that the orbit will follow you if you move? Yet the setup of the mode shown when you are out flying says to fly and mark a center point. If the Orbit can follow you, it seems to key in on the RC? If that is true why is a does it need a center point. Are there two choices in Orbit one to key on the "Marked" center point and one the key on the RC?

No. Because the center of the orbit is a marked location. Can't change that

@@OyiboVFX Still don't understand. In discussing Orbit between 1:30 and 1:44 you describe walking with the camera following the RC or "you"? Guess I will test to see what happens.

Tested today; in Orbit it does not follow the RC or "you" In Follow (M2P) the the forward/back and right left stick commands must be cancelled by the opposite command as stated or the motion will be continued; Up/down and yaw seemed to self cancel when the stick was released.

Nice video! Quick question though, do you need internet to run Follow mode? I have a drone link subscription and have access to the " on the fly "app. But not sure if it will work without the internet when I am in the countryside.

My understanding is that your do not control the yaw. DL does. Even if you manually move the stick. Am I right or wrong ?

For the follow mode, you cut the shot. How does it work, do we require a minimum altitude before we start?

Too close the RC is not recommendable

Sure. Place the drone on the location you want and start the mission. It should stay there

Which plan should I have to be able to use focus mode? My $20 basic hobbyist plan doesn't allow me to use this focus mode.

@@OyiboVFX the plans don't say if focus is included. It says Basic plan supports On the Fly functions but if I go into On the Fly and select Focus, I get following message: "Error: this function is not available for the basic plan"

@@OyiboVFX that's what I thought too. But it doesn't let me start the Focus mode. I can select it, it comes onto my DL app, but if I want to start it, I get the error message.

Hi I did and only Orbit works well , Focus works only YOUR LOCATION not POI and Follow me completely failed , the drone always flew away in awhile I had to stop the mode by pause or pressing RTH .so it was scary even i was on a wide open area but the drone flies fast so it almost reached a trees.I made all calibrations prior testing.I think Litchi is better in Follow me but with MM1 you have to learn and set i right as it does not have the obstacle avoidance.

@@dobsonsky9056 Focus works both with POI or your location. And follow works well. Just try first without changing the location of the drone. I warned about this and said take an open space. Keep flying and you'll learn and understand
