Btw the other day when you did that explanation of the difference between 900mhz and 2.4ghz was a great analogy...ie think of a loud car audio system. From the distance you always hear the bass furthest away..

what about latency? i really want something like this but i want to know if, when im racing, if it can either be turned off to rely on on the internal antenna only or not increase latency by too much
@LordGryllwotth6 жыл бұрын
It's "analog" device. So it will be almost no latency. The latency that will show is how fast the transistors can respond. These devices are also used for wifi amplification.

@darkshadowsx59493 жыл бұрын
i seen a 4w version and thought about slapping it on the back of my modded flysky FS-T6. the antenna elbow broke so i need to do an antenna mod anyway. i'll probably go with a 1 or 2 watt. i dont need to transmit up to a mile. I'll loose video feed before i get that far.

Friends, What a great video, where did you source that amplifier? Dang 1 watt, turn that on in your house while streaming video and test for interference. Also I believe that the full size TBS crossfire transmitter can hook to the trainer port on flysky radios with a simple adapter. Thank you,

Its my luck to see this video. Actually i ordered this before and i was about to receive it in some days. But actually i wanted to not to accept it or directly return (wanted to order r9m and tranis). but after seeing you video now i want to try it. I will get this in 1 or 2 days. Inside quality looks very fine. Just worried about rssi value in remote. I think this transmit and receive signal also. Lets see my order comes first or your testing video. M happy with both conditions. Thanks again. 👍🏻

I put a 2 watt on a bugs 3 . It beeped low signal once at 600 feet . But the video fpv was a 600mW rs32 and $50 goggles . Still have it in a jar . Just in case. So 800 feet was the video limit and trees made ut beep . So you cant weave around through the neighborhood . Just fy circle up high

Ok for the transmiter signal boost. What about the receiver. No need for antenna improvement or so ? Signal ?boost? Of receiver ?

This has a really short cable between the Tx and the Booster. Could you use a 10M SMA extension cable to put the booster at the top of a ground station antenna mast?
@megahertz67872 жыл бұрын
if your running this way radio -10m coax-1w booster- antenna Then I’m guessing it would work in theory I’m also assuming the stock radio signal can make it through 33 feet of coax cable before it reaches the booster , as long as the booster is getting signal your good because after all it’s job is to boost the signal it receives anyways so you might even be able to run a 50-100 foot coax that would also enable You to get that booster & antenna much higher in the air on ur antenna mast

Could you put this on the model itself? To say boost the range of a castable sonar bobber connected to a bait boat?
@gregorydahl Жыл бұрын
It amplifies the control transmitter signal from around 100mW to 2000 mW . It takes 8x your power to double your range . So 2x power needs 20 times battery and will go 2½ times the distance of the factory 100mW. Modern elrs claims to come with 1000 mW . So this wouldn't do much for that .
