@MrSleep20013 gas cans (made of plastic) that are emitting gas fumes in their vehicle, is a highly explosive situation. One ember falling from the sky from the fire they're approaching is all it takes. The gas in the vehicle is way more protected by the metal tank and sealed fuel system.

I was in north Cali back in the early 2000s trimming nugs before the laws changed and we had 2 homes burn down from summer fires way back then. We moved to Pigeon Forge in Tennessee and like 15 years later the house we built in the mountains burned down and Dolly Parton actually helped us out more than anybody ever thought about helping in California.

My bro is a la county firefighter stationed in Malibu . He said all flights were grounded due to extreme wind, so nothing was flying during the fire on the windiest day/night . We have on in MN. Luckily on a farm so it's on a pole about 1.5 ft away from a brick outbuilding. If it catches, it could burn the pole and maybe catch the roof. Spreading beyond that would depend on environmental and wind conditions from there. Might not be a bad idea to put a sprinkler system in to nip it in the bud if it were to ever go up.

Exactly! Plus, those gas cans don't always seal well so the vehicle was probably full of vapor!!! They were hording it to get as far as possible incase they couldn't get more on the way out but that didn't go as planned!

I have seen one video of the palisades fire where a house was completely engulfed in flames but the crazy thing was that the fire was pulsating. The color of the flames changed from a deep reddish orange to a extremely bright white color. And you could literally hear the pulses it made a hissing sound when it got more and more intense. Never seen anything like it before
