Actually I begged for drone b to reveal as mini 2 cuz for me it was obviously much better. And I don't have money to buy air 2. Color quality and motion clearness seems noticeably better on drone B

In first clip you can see more details in the shadows from Air 2's bigger sensor. Other than that, it is really close and you can appreciate the perfomance of the Mini 2 for the price. I will say that one would be able to see more dramatic results if HDR mode or smart photo is used with Air 2 during sunset or other high dynamic range situations.

I guessed right based on the video imagery, the dynamic range in B is better. A had a lot harsher gradient lines on things like the sunlight on the horizon, etc. The was one point that I started to doubt my choice because in a comparison shot it looked like B was getting moved around by the wind where A hadn't.

The main difference is Mini 2 has more aggressive contrast applied to it by DJI, which lowers the dynamic range. They could be virtually indistinguishable if same auto processing was applied.

B air 2 Edit: after watching. The dynamic range like better on B but the mini 2 has great sharpness. 👍

The Mini, as well as the original Mavic Pro had better sharpness, but DJI made it intentionally, as the les sharp image is prefered for a more cinematic approach (it can be sharpened in post).

Maybe it's my eyes but honestly I like the colors in a A drone. So that really makes me happy to own my mini 2. Better pictures and a moving video doesn't wash out on the sides. Mini 2 rocks and give a better prrformance in both video and pictures. Good $$$ saved.

Yes you can do it in premiere pro with an added sharpness effect and blurr it a bit
