I spent a week here, a week in Tahiti on my Honeymoon over 30 years ago. Will always remember feeding baby sharks in the Lagoon. So many more hotels now, it really was a tropical paradise in those days. i think there was one hotel in the lagoon. So glad i went. On the way out to my marriage in NZ we had a week on the Great Barrier Reef. The whole trip, just over 6 weeks was amazing and so quiet and peaceful.

Bora Bora is definitely worth any money in reasonable amounts, of course. It is easy to get to Bora Bora from the main island of French Polynesia - Tahiti. You can just take a ferry and in a few hours you will get to the magical pearl of Bora Bora. It is a natural lagoon surrounded by tiny coral islands.
