I'm not going to tell anyone they should quit or not, but I will say yesterday was extremely telling. They're changing this game basically to just add more monetization to it. That is the base part of every change (except the graphics). That's what it boils down to. And when we complained they essentially told us to go to hell, these changes are coming. I'll probably continue playing the game off and on, but I'm not giving them any more money.

It's not Unreal Engine that's the issue, it's not even the new UI or the lack of stats being shown, it's the replacement of the Tech-Tree with these Set things that probably pisses off many players.

been playing this game for 10 years now free to play element of the game (tech tree) is critical Tech Tree is a good reflection of the evolution of tanks, it is also the most logical layout, its just a line! What is confusing about a straight-line? historical accuracy/realism is key, that applies to the tanks, maps and commanders otherwise I may as well play tanks in halo I would be happy with just adding new tech trees, maps and fund modes wg should have done a poll before making big changes like this

I used to be a whale I used to spend 100 bucks a week or more on this game…. That stopped about two years ago. I haven’t spent a penny since the game started to fall apart because of the new players coming into it. They’re not educated on how to play as a team and when you try to get them too, they just call you insulting names or what have you game is far from fun anymore and I refuse to spend money for a game that should be fun, but isn’t it’s miserable and it just becomes more and more miserable every time I turn it back on I come back now again to check, but it’s always more the same complete blowouts one way or the other no fun no teamwork… used to be like hunting with a pack of wolves… now it’s like given the kids on the short bus markers to sniff before setting them loose

some suggestions to make the game better: -make maps bigger with more players 8v8 -improve the graphics and the physics, such that playing the game really feels great ( even the garage looks shit at the moment), also introduce like more objects and accesoures on the maps -remove steel and keys ( also why if you have a prem or collector tank as the only tank from one set, the set is still locked, like what?) -add extensive customazation like warthunder -rmove the player cap in training rooms and make training rooms more like a creative experience -you do not earn enough silver to pay for all the things in the new update, no chance

Another Topic: Infinite standard and HE shells Why ? Skill ceiling will be lower and skill floor will be higher due to ammo management will no longer be a thing... For example FV183 players will try to snapshot as much as they want without penalty of ammo being depleted... keep infinite ammo for regular battles and fun mode, but keep limited ammo for ranked(skilled based mode)...

I think you will find more people will quit than you think, I imagine the ping will rise and in area's like APAC that will be a problem. I am not saying I will quit, but I am not playing the game till this update comes out. I will try it, but it is unlikely I will play again unless there are major changes made to the current set up. A secret money grab won't be tolerated. After all what is the point of grinding if you are going to take all my stats and achievements away? If graphics is so important, then why do most players put the settings on low to increase ping?

I cannot stress how important it is to me that Wg should at least try to keep the the tank restoration mechanic in the game after the ue5 overhaul because imo it was a fundamental part of playing the game when it came to grinding the techtrees. Having multiple premiums i could always sell one for (what used to be 3mil credits but what is not 1.5) which would allow me to get the t10 i grinded for and then just use the other prems to get the sold premium tank back, and if the restoration mechanic really isnt possible with ue5 then maybe give the sold tanks back to the person for free or something to compensate for the potential hundreds of dollars that you would lose. I get that selling prems isnt a smart way of getting credits but it was justifiable considering they could always be bought back

I'm still gonna be playing Blitz, Unreal Engine or not. Honestly, the sets do help learn certain tank playstyles, and while I do agree that they do need a bit more work, they do make knowing what types of tanks are which a bit easier. Not to mention WG have said they're planning on making a tech tree like format for sets, so that's something at least.
