I run M2C droop screws in all my rigs. The only issue with the is the hex can fill with dirt. I press in alittle wax as I do in my chassis screws too. Keeps the hexes clean. Ya know.

I have the upgrades about droop screws also on my channel. But I use regular 4mm buttonhead screws. I have been experimenting with flathead screws. When adjusting the droop (because of the aluminum wear,) I just use new and longer screws if adding several washers.(cheap route). Also use rivet washers. They are thicker and only need 1 or 2 washers. And you can adjust it without taking the diff off the chassis. Just removing the bottom of the shock and compressing the arm all the way up. You're able to get the screwdriver in there. Have fun. Ps on the 1/5 scale I use 2 (4mm) flat head screws. It mimics the M2C units.

Are you using washers with the M2C droop screws or are they not needed ?

What ramps are those???? They look pretty sweet, durable and functional.

I know right probably expensive too. Traxxas headquarters can afford it though. That’s where I believe it was filmed

so when setting droop screws you want just a little resistance to line up shock ends with pin holes? Great vid. Quick question, I have a small budget for upgrades for my big rock 6s and wondering what would you recommend I upgrade as most important and why/ Thanks again.
@EastTactics9 ай бұрын
I was simply start putting away maybe 30 bucks a month or 50 bucks a month in a little side account for yourself. And that way when you break something you can upgrade it from M2C. Clutch upgrades: Front and rear hinge pin kits. They’re like 75 bucks each kit however, I would do the rear first if only doing one. These hinge pin kits are a massive upgrade. I’m hearing that the outdrive cups for the success big rock, while bigger are breaking. Be sure if you break one of those you switch to the M2C outdrive cups, the EXB version. While they are smaller (the cup itself) they are dramatically stronger. I forget if the big rock comes with 4 mm shock standoffs. But if they are not upgraded, getting a set of four of those would be a great upgrade to your big rock from M2C. Are you happy with your steering? Upgrading servo might be in order. I really depends on how big you wanna go with your jumping craze. Many people keep it pretty small and upgrades are not as needed. But then there’s those people that want to launch it 30 to 70‘ over and over again. And that’s a whole new story in the upgrade Arena. M2C chassis, shock towers, rear shock, tower brace, etc. Back to my original comment …have fun with it. If you break something simply have the money saved up for upgrading that specific piece to the very best in the industry. Over the years, your rig will become the ultimate.

I have the newest kraton 6s exb v2 and my droop screws are none adjustable. Button head on the bottom but solid on the adjustment side. No hex hole. Does anybody else with the new kraton have this problem? Going to switch out with the M2C droop screws. Thanks for the video

Another awesome option is ARRMA makes what they call a double socket droop screw part# arac9870 those have the mushroom cap head with a hex an then the other end also has a built in hex
