I am going fishing for crappie tomorrow in lake livingston, I was surfing the web for catfish setups, I will try this and let you know what happens. thank you for your help.

Chad, Thank you for the time you take to make these videos. Please take this as constructive advise: I think the vid, although good, would be better if you worked in a video (or some pictures) of you catching some fish using this method... You now how fisherman love to see vids and pics of fish. Thanks again for the video.

You think this would work in a river situation with current into a hole from shore? I am trying to find a better way to fish a real specific spot for a small catfish. Tie two hooks direct to main line to use multiple bait types.

hey chad, your ol buddy texasroundheads here......brother, i hate to tell you this, but your get'n better at make'n these video's....lol......this was by far the best shot and easy to understand so far. for some reason, i don't like the idea of tying the hook straight to the main down line. i mean, i understand why your do'n it this way, but will they take it as good as the one with the short leader ?....the answer is probably gonna be, "when their fed'n strong, it doesn't make a difference.
