My main catcher is Will Smith so Fry was like found money with his dual eligibility in the OF. I cut him the other day for former Cardinals prospect Juan Yepez who is on a tear since being called up by Washington. It is always tough to cut someone who did so well but that 7 games in a row without a hit was too much for me while I was tracking Yepez getting multiple hits in every game over the same stretch.

re: Acuna / Strider... our ESPN league is a Keeper league, and their owners certainly aren't allowing studs like this to drop into waivers. I doubt that's the whole ownership % explanation, but it must contribute something towards it

I picked up Ben Rice and have been using him in my catcher spot. He started off good but it seems like he's fallen in love with the long ball after his 3 homer game. He had a good BB/K ratio until recently, now he's K'ing like a beast. Is he worth hanging onto or should I try and sell high on him, if I can sell him at all? He is a Yankee with C/1B eligibility that's been batting leadoff, so he may have value to someone that likes homers and Yankees and doesn't care about K's and BA.

@@jsep121i watched his last start and the only thing i can come up with is he’s been tipping pitches. seemed like the Phillies were sitting on offspeed the entire game 🤔

Why? You could always pick him back up if he comes back. No one's going to scoop him up unless he starts looking like he did last year.

We've had a really tight race this season with 5 teams swapping first place. At one point all 5 of us were within 7 points of the top. That's changed a bit with one guy dropping off, but it will be a fun second half. So glad my Julio Rodriguez trade fell through and I kept him. Even if he's just a bit better in the second half, we'll be in much better shape. Still need a couple injured guys to come back. We've got a moves cap of 30 (trades don't count against it) so you have to be careful when dumping or ILing guys.
