This is for grabbing the wire. Either to pull the pump or to get the wire out of the way to grab the pipe with the "Quick Fish PIPE GRAB" tool.

This would only work under certain circumstances. If you're well caves in say goodbye to your pump

That is certainly true. If the pump is stuck from a collapsed well then unfortunately you have bigger problems.

@@rhrproductsllc.5067 I looked at this as well, but they show poly tubing not steel pipe. Does it work for steel? How about 2 inch? Thanks.
