The silver player wasn't actually silver when he got matched with you, he was unranked. The placement matches used to be somewhat matched since the matchmaking engine used to use MMR for matching. Now that it uses CSR, and unranked players don't have CSR, they could end up anywhere until they do. A player that much lower shouldn't appear in your game again unless they're doing or finishing their placements, besides other extreme circumstances or complicating factors. My opinion is that CSR matchmaking should be less frustrating in the long term since people's ranks should actually reflect their relative skill, but it definitely will feel unclear in the short term while players CSRs get sorted out.

I don't know why both you and Lucid edit your videos, the time jumps really take you out of the game. That's why i love Sparty's vids, just the full game, so you get sucked right into it and can better follow along. You FEEL his respawn times when the flag is out or his team is getting pushed. Maybe that's just me.
