Dropping a GoPro Under The Lake Worth Pier, Sharks, and More!

Let's visit the always fantastic Lake Worth pier and see what amazing marine life are dwelling underneath the planks. This is my personal favorite location with nearly half of my videos being filmed here, the Lake Worth pier is both a remarkable fishing location and a beautiful home to many aquatic species. The Pier offers shelter to a number of species, Snapper, Snook, Tarpon, Barracuda, Sharks and many other incredible animals call the pier home.
The pier has two sides, the northern side is an empty sand covered area that provides an ideal position for both videos looking out to sea and under the pier as seen in this video. The southern side has a span of rocks and parts of the old pier, offering an artificial reef of sorts to the many species of fish that call this place home.
The pier has almost always been a guaranteed video, the waters of Lake Worth Beach are often clear, even on the roughest days, I can capture videos of amazing animals.
While the Lake Worth pier was not the first ocean based fishing pier I visited, that of course being the Juno Pier, it is the one that offers the most opportunities for videos. I frequently encounter Sea turtles, Sharks, Rays, and other animals I have deemed as "Big Ticket Items", these marine animals are often the most eye catching and entertaining species.
You can find me at the end of the Lake Worth pier, usually with my cart full of equipment and the ACG Adventures hat on my head. I often use a live camera so if you ever see me theres a chance I may be able to show you a live shot at the pier.
One thing I love to do while at the pier is when I can take a moment and talk to the many visitors to the pier, often I will educate folks about the animals on my camera, or I am pointing out sharks or turtles to the many spectators.
Since March of 2023, I have been able to build many relationships with the local fishermen and the incredible staff at the pier. I have been grateful and fortunate enough to do this here and love sharing this hobby of mine with you all.
