highlight of my life was hopping off of chair 6 for my second run and seeing patrol pull the gate on xmas with zero people anywhere to be seen.

When I'm out on the wall and you see my hand out in front, reaching, that's because I'm falling off backwards. If one bump in the trail had sent me the wrong way, the video may never have been seen.

Excellent choice of music. And that traverse, especially on a snowboard, was one of the bravest things I've seen in a while.

@@duzntskee What was down below that looked like an endless, flat field of snow? I've never been to Alyeska and that looked kind of spooky lol

@@FifthCoast That was the clouds brother. At the end you can see them from below!

@Jeremy Ulfohn ...I recently made friends on social media with the creator of this track, Charles. Also showed him this video and he was stoked. Thanks again bro

@@duzntskee Oh shit, interesting that y'all connected. Btw, I meant to ask - what does the traverse get you access to? Just better snow? Also, is the beginning of the traverse IRL the death-drop level of steep that it looks in the video? You think you could have survived if you'd fallen?

WoW! How is everyone such an amazing skier at Alyeska (or boarder)... we will be back! Do this one day!

Seriously I've done the Christmas chute and it is a CHUTE! On video it doesn't look that vertical, but it's practically a bowl shaped CLIFF.

¨Money¨ best run in Alyeska, has only opened a few times in the last ten years but when its open it is unbelievable, Christmas, New Year, Head Wall and Max are also good...

haha you shud change the name to doesn't snowboard lol props for getting thru the chute tho its quite gnarly. I have never been lucky enough to hit it with so much fresh like that always ice and choppy I was hopin to see you mash in all that powder but you made me dizzy watching lol
@cybertree7 жыл бұрын
You obviously haven't been there brother, the shits nearly vertical. The video doesn't pick up how steep it is, I can board literally anything possible, and this guy did a good job.

Wow. Nice video. You shouldn’t be by yourself. Even though you’re an adult, you could get lost or trapped.

Thank you. Amazingly enough, this is not backcountry, I'm still in bounds at the Alyeska Resort! Ski Patrol is aware that I am in the Chute and on the North Face.

@@duzntskee even though it’s in bounds you shouldn’t be alone, even the sign at the top of the chute says not to drop Christmas Alone
