We were at a store getting a few groceries a few years ago, after putting our groceries in the car, we went to return the shopping cart & in a cart ahead of ours we saw a woman’s wallet. We started to take it to customer service, but had a feeling that wasn’t a good idea. My husband being a State Trooper decided to open it to see the I.D. & found a phone number & called the lady that accidentally left it. She had her check , cash, credit cards etc. & we knew she was probably panicking. She was a Nurse & didn’t live far from us. We gave her directions to our home & she couldn’t believe how honest we were & offered us a reward, we told her no & that we were thankful we found it instead of someone who may have kept it. She was amazed & then we told her we Pastored a Pentecostal Church & that we were more interested in going to Heaven than taking something that didn’t belong to us! Always be honest because the Lord Jesus sees & knows all things & Nothing in this world is worth your soul! Lord bless you all. Sister Pat 👏🙌🕊
