So it approx 1.5% drop rate from an uber boss and he still chose that over farming the div cards, they must be apothecary-level rare

Farming 4-5 invites per hour is pretty realistic. If we take Steel's estimate of 12-15 hours for the invite farm, that means you'd need a strategy that drops roughly 1 card per 2 hours to compete. Even if it's 2-3x as common as The Apothecary, which seems to be the case, you're going to struggle to get a card every 2 hours. You also have to farm it in map layouts people don't like running (Residence / Academy) and on top of that you'd need to burn resources (scarabs / sextants) like crazy during that time. In contrast, boss rushing generates resources (Guardian / Synth maps, master missions) and requires less intense focus while being a lot more flexible in the maps you choose. I think it's absolutely GGG's intent that the best way to farm an Uber Unique on SSF is to directly farm the boss and they have done a pretty good job of achieving it.

Pretty sure you only have to kill the boss twice to get the invitations at 14 and 28. You can proc eater and dip out and run another map. Speed up the process a ton.

For the strat at 4:30, is it necessary to boss rush? Don't you proc the influence progress by just killing a few mob packs? I know for 12 and 24 you need too, but are there other reasons? (Also a ssf andy asking)

@@cyborg990 Almost all of the damage in this build is coming from flat ES being churned through ephemeral edge + the fact that splitting steel is just a really good skill. I also got attack speed alongside % increase ES on my corrupted magic jewels.

@@Carrylikemariah thank you for the answer on this, i was doing this build without a nimis and i just didnt have the dps to even get close to uber eater kills, 6 portals got it to around 55% hp but i've started to scale the ES up and i can see that, thats where the dps truly comes from. 😀

Get lucky. Honestly some of the stuff Steel has crafted is basically mirror tiered or close enough to. If you’re not good at crafting you might have to commission someone to do it for you but it won’t be cheap.

can someone explain where does he get the accuracy for this build? there is no accuracy anywhere on the tree, gear or jewels I rly dont understand how is he using an attack and has 0 investment into accuracy..... YET when he plays it's like he has 100% chance I'm legit stumped......

@@xMrNight you get about 200accuracy from level, he has 300 dex, which is 600, another 600ish from the helm and 40% from sword + 1.1k from precision, which gives him 3.5k accuracy for 98% hit rate vs normal pinnacle bosses. -- Tl;dr you don't need that much accuracy from gear, usually 1-2 sources.

return proj makes him lose 60% dmg on returning projectiles and nimis not only gives him a 35% proj dmg buff but you dont need return proj so u can drop it and replace it with a damage buff gem for even more damage so you can get a 120% buff from simply getting a nimis

​@scy4205 the proj damage isn't a more multiplier... and the effect damage of return proj support needs to be calced in relation to the new support them. A new support gem at that state isn't giving him more than 40% more damage
