Love the follow cam on Paul. It’s easy to assume you shred because of your bmx background, he’s a bit stealthy. He seems to focus more on progression. Doesn’t always show off his existing talent. This confirms that he's better than he lets on and he’s just kind of modest about it (I knew it!)… You both seem like solid, humble dudes. This was fun to watch. I hope you partner up on more vids.

That would be me, the builder. It's a ride-around smaller jump that uses the same landing. Not exactly dangerous since the trail only diverges 50m up from that point and there's good sight lines.

29er seems to be a very fast bike which is all well and good but does that wheel size lose actual trial detail? I ask because i remember back in the 80s we would have a lot of fun with slow detail riding, maybe something that has become overlooked these days as the 29er takes gliding to the riders.

@VanCan4 жыл бұрын
Well it’s definitely more work to move the wheels around, but I’m getting used to it.
@kyleslater52454 жыл бұрын
Ah yes. That I agree with and that’s part of the reason I still like 26” wheels. The other is well I keep rubbing my ass on anything larger then 26”... and that ain’t fun. But that’s still just a difficulty thing not an impossibility...
@kyleslater52454 жыл бұрын
If it means anything I managed to go for a ride with jay hoots a while back (he was working on a trail design in my area) and his comment was larger wheel size needs more speed to make it feel as playful as the smaller sizes.
@BlueberryFarm9004 жыл бұрын
@@VanCan From a viewer's perspective, it looks like your front wheel is wallowing around a lot more than 27.5. It's evident that you're not used to the geometic changes from that wheel size yet.
