I wasn't particularly fond of the original trailer made for this film. It didn't capture the mood of the film or properly showcase the great soundtrack. This is the trailer I came up with.

Oh my god... I was honestly amazed that this was the trailer because they don't make trailers this good. Then when I saw it was edited by someone who loves the soundtrack as much as I do, it all made sense! Thank you I am even more excited to see the movie (haven't seen it yet)

@@argos4978 playful, experimental, barroque, insane? there is only one Peter Greenaway. :) but are some other fun ones. Hal Hartley, an independent filmmaker from NY is fun too, closer to Jean Luc Godard way of cinema, as Greenaway is closer to Alain Resnais (but only in montage, resnais is no fun) Greenaway is an universe a part.

This is my all time favorite film . But this trailer is so much better. And encapsulates so much of the best bits and music. I dream of that beach. Excellent

I think you've really captured it. What I love most is the spirit of this particular film, which is conveyed quite beautifully by the moments and timings, and especially the music you've chosen, really well done.

The weirdest thing ever, I watched this trailer a few weeks ago and found it mesmerizing but I totally forgot about it.. For the past few weeks whenever I would wake up Id hear this melody so distinctly and it would infect my day with this weird melancholy, and spring up whenever I would think about my dreams... Just now found it again finally but it's so weird only hearing it one my brain made that association.

I haven't seen this film, but I very much enjoyed your cut of the trailer. I found the way you envisioned and edited the opening through 0:41 to be absolutely stunning. I could watch that sequence on a loop for hours.

Fantastic Trailer!! Captures some of the best parts of the film. Fish Beach is a beautiful piece of music. I saw this recently on Film 4 part of a Peter Greenaway season, amazing film!!!

Just found the UK Blu-ray/DVD edition at my local Goodwill here in the US for just $5 - a complete blind buy, but this movie looks excellent… almost like an older version of a Wes Anderson film.
