This one of those songs that you hear and you can just never forget it. Sadly Dave Williams (The singer, the guy who's screaming into the guys ear, etc in this music video) passed away just about a year or so after this was released from a heart disease that he didn't know he had.

So the one big reason this song was requested was because the lead singer of this band died young :( they continued on after his death with different singers, but many consider their best work with the singer in this song (Dave Williams). And I think with this video, Dave is supposed to be a hallucination the man in the chair is having. Or the internal screaming at least. The telling himself "nothing's wrong with me" over and over again.

One of my good friends went to high school with this guy and they did write a couple of songs together but didn't really hang out. His S-I-L knew Dave well but my friend called him David. My friend showed me and played an old cassette tape of their work together. They went to Princeton HS in Texas. eh wouldn't call them a one hit wonder. Their first few albums with the singer in this video did pretty well. But he died pretty young from heart failure. They rotated in other singers after him, but never quite found someone like Dave Williams.
