no excuse for what she did what reason ,... There are two reasons someone would keep a relationship secret.like she did 1) She's keeping her options open because she doesn't see you as a long term prospect. She's interested in another guy in or around the group. (jade) and denied lucifer for him. 2) She doesn't think the relationship reflects well on her. so this is fact .chloe didnt love lucifer.

I guess I'm the only one who was really annoyed by this episode. I didn't like this season very much so far because they try to make everything so overly dramatic. Lucifer finally comes back and Chloe and he finally have a chance to be together but then of course she finds out she was a gift from god and that means they can't be together. Then they get passed that and finally have nothing in their way but then she suddenly doesn't want people to know about their relationship and pushes him away. Really? you finally get to this point and THIS is what you focus on. Then she's upset that he starts doing the same. It's such forced drama. Then this ex boyfriend shows up and gets in the way as well. It's like Chloe aka the writers always try to find something that has to get in the way. It's so forced. That love scene at the end was epic but that's about it. Man, I miss season 4. Back then this hadn't turned into a relationship drama straight out of a soap opera.

You cannot build up to a relationship for 4 seasons and not deliver on it especially if its a huge dynamic in the show, i think the twist with michael was great to be honest this season and i love how its quick pace and not dwelling on and making her take forever to get past her being a gift from god . I really enjoy the show so far finally someone who can match lucifer , i'm hoping that netflix extending it for season 6 does not ruin this season but the show runners said they love the ending of season 5 so much they wont change it but expand on it in season 6 , whatever that means.

​@@monmaged6498 well you are wrong. I know many couples, whom in beginning of relations some times keeps it secret. It gives time collect some moments, work out rituals, enjoy some intimacy. Cloe and Lucifer they even hadn't a sex yet, so about what relations she could talk? and to whom? former ex?
