Hi Dr, you explained everything in a wonderful manner, kindly answer my query as there is very few content on Calcaneum fracture surgeries & implant removal. I had a fracture of the body Calcaneum (Grade-IV). Titanium plating with 07 screws was done on 30th May 2024. I started weight bearing after 12 weeks of surgery & also suffered cellulitis at 17 weeks post surgery. Most of the time titanium plate is hurting the lateral malleolus, surgeons just have shared their opinion to remove after 18 months. Kindly share your opinion on that, this hurting of malleolus for 13 months would cause any other issue or not..?

Sir, I had my olecranon fracture on 19 June and surgery done on 21st june so the process used under my hand is 2 K -wire and a tension binding wire. So please suggest me when should I take out these K- wires and TBW. I will be thankful to you your response 🙏

Hi sir, it was a great video. Actually i too have a rod implant in my humorous bone & now it's been 2.5 years since my surgery. The only issue i have been facing is whenever i play any sports like cricket, badminton, volleyball etc and while throwing, i feel pain in that area and after that i cant apply enough force from that hand. Hello respected sir I am 19 years old I fractured my humerus shaft 9 months ago and got intramedullary rod and screw fixation to help it heal and now according to the xrays it has almost healed completely so i would like to know if it is necessary to get the hardware removed if I want to do heavy weightlifting of like 120 kgs after a period of 1 year of complete healing will it cause any complication while doing this type of heavy weightlifting or I will be able to do every movement and even heavy workouts with the rod and screws still inside without any problem

Sir mere ankle fracture hua hai medillious or talus fracture hua hai isko heal karne ke liye mein kiya diet lu or mere surgen ne yeah constant form sign kara ya hai ki jo small bone hai waha blood supply kam hota hai toh wo dry ho sakthi hai but 100 mein se bhoth kam cases mein hota hai or doctor ne bola ke 6 mahine baad hum hardware remove kar de ge or my age is 19 years right now Aap baatao mein aise kya karu jisse mere ankle jalti heal hoje or kya khaau iske liye ? i hope sir you understand my problem and reply my question i am waiting for your answer

Sir i had operatiion in my tibia fracture 1 year back ..and poplitial vascular repair done due to cut of...so titanium plates surgry done in my tibia ...sir is it necesary to remove or not if not thn in future if further operation required then is there any problem in MRI,Ct Scan machine or operation kindly guide me Sir 🙏

You can Consider Doing plate removal once the fracture has healed well .. although one can keep good quality titanium plates as well .. when you do MRI/ CT then special software’s are needed for them due to metallic implants.
