DRPH S2 - Promos Part 1 - Fashion and First Impressions!

Here's part 1 of Pakak or Lagapak for Drag Race Philippines S2 - first impression and fashion review! Today I'm sharing my opinions on the PROMO looks and sharing what I thought about "meeting the queens!" I also answer some fan questions from Twitter which I'll continue to do every episode! This is a working progress but I had a really good time filming this but not so much editing it! But I hope you enjoy and let's keep the hate out on the comments below. 👏👏👏 . Loved it As far as Astrid. Im guilty of feeling like that when I was a baby queen. I also think it wasn't meant to be for real. She said it on the MTQ that damn she sounds shady. Let's all take these for fun n light-hearted shade. It's perfectly fine. Every one all of a sudden is martyrs n act like no shady comments ever left their lips. Get real. Katkat had a feud with other queens prior to drag race. It's been said that she has attitude. In season 1, there was a screenshot of her message in a group chat where she shaded the other queens by the saying She's not cast in season 1 because season 1 queens are only pretty in the pictures. She explained that this was just a shade because she's friends with the queens (esp the Divine Divas) but Minty Fresh took offense from what she said. Then Katkat got bashed on Twitter because of Minty's tweet.

DeeDee is from Tayabas City, Quezon Province. Locals are called Tayabasin. Some fans remember her as the one who won a (now defunct) drag competition against Precious Paula Nicole in the finals.

Mami Ongina, about Captivating KatKat being a villain; she has a lot of issues with other drag queens. She is very negative and shady. Not even shady. She always go overboard to the other queens. If you wonder why is she is not canceled with her negative attitude, it’s because she is one of the most talented, one of the top in the hierarchy of drag in the Philippines.

Good on you for calling out Astrid Mercury for the disrespectful way she talked about the more seasoned queens, about how good SHE was and all that. Cuz frankly, I frequent drag shows, in several known bars. 1. Who is she cuz I've never even seen her. 2. And let me say, be careful how "yabang" you are. You are in the competition with some of the best, and most seasoned gurls on the Philippine drag scene. Katkat doesn't need a costume to grind you into the floor. Bernie can dance rings around you in 10 INCH HEELS, and Deedee can make people laugh with a single gesture. Wala ka pang napapatunayan, 'day. Hinay hinay sa attitude.
